Bab 4: My Pet, My Garden & The Sun and the Wind
This bab covers Units 10–12. Pupils learn the phonemes /ú/, /r/, /h/, /b/, and /f/ (ff), talk about pet animals, parts of a flower, and read the fable 'The Sun and the Wind'.
Pupils recite and talk about pets:

Different pets eat different food and live in different homes: rabbits eat carrots, goldfish eat pellets (in a fishbowl), kittens sleep in a rattan basket.
Pupils point and name objects with /h/ and /b/ sounds:

The hibiscus (bunga raya) is Malaysia's national flower. A flower has petals, leaves, a bud, and a stem. Flowers need water — use a watering can to water them.
Pupils learn parts of a book:
title — judul buku
front cover — kulit depan
author — penulis
illustrator — ilustrator
Every book has a front cover, title, author, and illustrator.
The phoneme /f/ is represented by 'f' and 'ff':

Pupils read the fable:
The Wind believed he was the strongest on Earth.
The Wind challenged the Sun to test their strength.

The Wind huffed and puffed, but the man held his coat tightly.
The Sun shone gently. The man felt hot and took off his coat.
The Sun was the winner. — 'Each of us has our own strength. We must respect each other.'
Pupils learn weather words and complete sentences:
sunny, cloudy, rainy

Every book has a front cover, title, author (writer), and illustrator. The moral of 'The Sun and the Wind' is: each of us has our own strength. We must respect each other.
📝 Kosa Kata
The hibiscus (bunga raya) became Malaysia's national flower in 1960. It has five petals that represent the five principles of the Rukun Negara! The fable 'The Sun and the Wind' teaches us that gentleness can be stronger than force.
