Unit 14: Adventure Sports
This unit is about extreme sports — rock climbing, white water rafting, BMX cycling, paintball, sky diving, and paragliding. Pupils learn safety gear, write a letter of advice, learn adverbs of degree (very/too/enough), and read 'Captain Hook and His Pirates'.
An extreme sport is a popular term for activities with a high level of risk, often involving danger or speed. Examples and safety gear:
